Remoto Porfavor exists to connect Latin American professionals with remote job opportunities from global companies. We're proud to host a growing community of job seekers and employers who believe in transparency, accessibility, and remote-first values.
We want to ensure that our platform is safe, fair, and valuable for everyone. These guidelines explain what we expect from everyone using Remoto Porfavor.

β Our Role
We are a job board platform, not a recruiter or intermediary. While we review and moderate content, responsibility for the accuracy, legality, and integrity of job listings lies with the employers who post them.
We reserve the right to remove content or suspend accounts that violate these guidelines or our Terms of Service.
π Job Posting Guidelines (For Employers)
We aim to promote high-quality, ethical remote opportunities. Job posts may be removed if they include or imply:
- β Illegal content or activities (according to Mexican, U.S., or international law)
- β Harassment or discriminatory language, including:
- Offensive references to gender, age, race, ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation, disability, or appearance
- β Pornographic, adult, or mature content
- β Inflammatory or offensive language, including hate speech, slurs, or personal attacks
- β Scams or phishing attempts, such as:
- Requests for money or upfront payments from applicants
- Suspicious hiring procedures (e.g., outside platforms, crypto wallets, non-verified interviews)
- β Misleading job titles or roles, including clickbait or fake remote options
We encourage transparency:
- π Clearly state if the job is fully remote or has regional restrictions
- π¬ Include salary ranges and contract terms if possible
- π€ Communicate respectfully with applicants
π€ Job Seeker Conduct
To keep this space safe and supportive, we expect job seekers to:
- β Apply only to listings that match their experience and interest
- β Use accurate, truthful information in applications
- β Communicate respectfully with employers
- β Refrain from abusive or spammy behavior (e.g., mass applications, trolling)
π Moderation & Enforcement
We review flagged posts and messages and may:
- Remove job listings without notice
- Temporarily or permanently disable accounts
- Block IPs or emails engaged in abusive behavior
We aim to respond to all reports within 24β48 hours.
